JoB Description

The Operations Manager is a data-driven senior management position responsible for the agency's bookkeeping and data management.

This is a fulltime, exempt position reporting to the Executive Director.
 

 

Scope of Work:

  • Finance
    • Responsible for the organization's bookkeeping, including daily online donation processing as well as mailed donations
    • Prepares bank deposits and 401K processing
    • Responsible for ensuring timely payment of the organization's bills by coding invoices and preparing checks for the Executive Director's signature
    • Prepares financial reports as needed for the Board of Directors, auditors and funders
    • Works with Auditors on yearly audit
    • Supports the Executive Director in drafting the annual budget
  • Operations
    • Manages web content/web pages
    • Manages all web platforms and CRMs, including Drupal, Salsa and Salesforce
    • Manages data specific to the organization's programs, including validation/analysis of internally generated data and gathering of externally generated data
    • Provides program data for grant and contract reporting
    • Troubleshoots lT issues as they arise
    • Participates in the organization's weekly Senior Management Meetings
    • Provides hotline and other direct service assistance as necessary
    • Provides staff support for the annual Walk Against Hunger
    • Trains and supervises volunteers for the Coalition's SNAP and other hotlines
    • Orders supplies for the organization

 

 

Key Qualifications:

  • Bachelor degree required
  • Must be self-motivated and self-directed
  • Experience working with Salesforce , Quickbooks or other related database system, as well as program and staff management experience required
  • Working knowledge of hunger and nutrition issues a plus
