JoB Description

Einstein Healthcare Network is a private, not for profit organization with several major facilities and many outpatient centers. In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Working with the Office of Development to plan and develop site content, monitor and report analytics for overall site and program specific campaigns, position advance.einstein.edu as a valuable engagement/resource tool for donors, and develop the site as the resource to promote overall awareness of Einstein?s culture of philanthropy
  • The website, both in style and appearance as well as functionality, and for consistently updating and/or maintaining the site
  • Reporting to the Manager of Development Communications



If you possess the following qualifications, please apply immediately:

  • BA website design/graphic design required
  • 1-3 years of experience desired
  • Web graphic and web user interface design required
  • Web programming skills required(e.g. Blackbaud Luminate OnLine & WordPress experience preferred)
  • Understanding of browser capabilities & web analytics
  • Good verbal communication skills
  • Ability to edit/write web content



Physical Demands:

  • Physical Requirements: Able to navigate normal physical barriers of corporate and institutional buildings
  • Visual Requirements: Able to manage paperwork, and use a computer. High visual acuity required
  • Hearing Requirements: Able to use a telephone and conduct business with vendors, volunteers and other employees in the Network
  • Working Conditions: Normal

Where are the Level 5 Leaders?

Having just finished teaching a class on governance where we talk about the should haves and the ought tos, as well as the realities, the one that has grabbed my attention this round is the paucity of quality leaders—at both the paid and volunteer levels.  In so many ways, leaders are, for the most part, at best average, and at worst well below. Perhaps the most basic of the deficiencies is the failure to understand their jobs.  It doesn’t take long working in a nonprofit to understand that too often the board members do not understand their individual responsibilities or.
